Stimuler la recherche en économie sociale en récompensant les travaux de Master portant sur les entreprises coopératives constitue depuis 2009 l’objectif du Prix de la Recherche coopérative organisé par le Crédit Mutuel en partenariat avec la Recma. M. Etienne Pflimlin, président d’honneur du Crédit Mutuel, a remis les trois prix de cette 4e édition le 20 décembre.

Si ce numéro ne comporte pas de dossier, un fil conducteur traverse ces varias : la Revue de la régulation y renoue avec quelques grandes discussions et thématiques au cœur de la théorie de la régulation. C’est notamment le cas des thèmes structurants de la valeur et du développement durable, mais aussi du dialogue avec des courants ou auteurs proches. This symposium of the United nations Research Institute for Social Development seeks to: (i) understand the conditions and contexts that enable social and solidarity economy (SSE) to expand; and (ii) assess the implications of such processes and interactions with external actors and institutions for realizing the potential of SSE as a distinctive approach to development. What sort of enabling environment is needed for SSE realize its potential and sustain itself over the long term?

The Third Sector - 'broadly defined as the voluntary, charitable, co-operative, religious, health and educational organisations which sit outside the confines of the private (‘profit’) and public sectors - is facing a rapidly changing environment which challenges its efficient management and continuation. This research workshop seeks to examine current influences on the effective operation of these non-profit organisations. We are interested in high quality research papers which address the managerial challenges facing this sector. The organisers are particularly interested in the results of managerial, economic and inter-disciplinary approaches. This workshop organised by the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM), will be of interest to researchers active in this area but also to policy-makers, senior managers and practitioners from all disciplines.
